Tour Plan

Day One: Arrival To Egypt / Visit Giza Pyramids

1. Visit the Giza Pyramids Complex

Start your day exploring one of the most legendary archaeological sites in Egypt. The complex dates back to the 4th Dynasty, when the pharaohs built magnificent pyramids as their royal tombs. The three main pyramids were constructed for the kings Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, showcasing the remarkable engineering and architectural brilliance of ancient Egypt.

2. Discover the Great Pyramid of Giza

The Great Pyramid, built for Pharaoh Khufu around 2570 BC, is the largest and most impressive structure in the complex. Designed by the royal architect Hemiunu, the pyramid was constructed using about 2.3 million limestone blocks. Standing approximately 138.5 meters (454 ft) tall, it remains the only surviving wonder of the ancient world and is perfectly aligned with the four cardinal directions.

3. Explore the Great Sphinx of Giza

Admire the iconic Sphinx, a massive statue symbolizing wisdom and strength. It features the head of Pharaoh Khafre and the body of a lion. Measuring about 73 meters long and 20 meters high, this mysterious monument is believed to have been built to guard the sacred Giza Plateau.

4. Visit the Valley Temple of Khafre

Continue your tour with a visit to the Valley Temple, one of the best-preserved buildings from the Old Kingdom. Dedicated to Pharaoh Khafre, the temple was used in ancient times for the mummification process and rituals such as the “Opening of the Mouth” ceremony.

5. Lunch at a Local Restaurant

After completing your exploration of the Giza Plateau, enjoy a delicious lunch at a high-quality restaurant before checking in to your 5-star hotel for relaxation.

6. Tour the Grand Egyptian Museum

Later, visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, one of the largest archaeological museums in the world. Spanning nearly 490,000 square meters, the museum connects ancient Egyptian heritage with modern design and technology. Visitors can admire remarkable highlights such as the Hanging Obelisk, the colossal statue of Ramesses II, and the complete treasure collection of Tutankhamun, which includes more than 5,000 artifacts.

7. Dinner Cruise on the Nile

In the evening, enjoy a memorable dinner cruise along the Nile River. While savoring a delicious dinner onboard a luxury ship, watch live entertainment including traditional belly dancing and the colorful Tanoura folkloric show.

8. Overnight Stay

At the end of the evening, you will be comfortably transferred back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day Two: Fabulous Tour To Saqqara & Memphis

1. Explore the Step Pyramid of Djoser at Saqqara

Begin your day with a visit to the famous Step Pyramid at Saqqara, one of the most extraordinary monuments of ancient Egypt. Built more than 4,000 years ago, this pyramid was commissioned by Pharaoh Djoser during the 3rd Dynasty (around 2670–2650 BC). Designed by the brilliant architect Imhotep, it is considered the first pyramid ever constructed in history. The structure features six distinct tiers rising to a height of about 63 meters and is surrounded by a vast ceremonial courtyard.

2. Visit the Ancient City of Memphis, Egypt

Next, head to the remains of Memphis, one of the most important cities of ancient Egypt. Located near the modern village of Mit Rahina on the west bank of the Nile River, Memphis served as the capital during the early dynastic period. The city was once home to royal palaces and the headquarters of the northern vizier, as well as the high priest of the creator god Ptah. Founded around the 31st century BC, Memphis played a key role in Egypt’s political and religious life.

3. Lunch at a Quality Restaurant

After exploring Saqqara and Memphis, enjoy a delicious lunch at a high-quality restaurant before continuing your tour.

4. Discover the Dahshur Pyramids

Continue your journey to Dahshur, an important royal necropolis located about 40 km south of Cairo. This site is famous for its remarkable pyramids built during the reign of Pharaoh Sneferu of the 4th Dynasty.

5. Visit the Bent Pyramid and Red Pyramid

At Dahshur, admire two of the best-preserved pyramids in Egypt. The Bent Pyramid is unique for its unusual change in angle during construction, while the Red Pyramid is considered the first successful true pyramid. Both monuments represent major advancements in ancient Egyptian architecture and engineering.

6. Overnight Stay in Cairo

After completing the day’s sightseeing, return to your hotel in Cairo to relax and spend the night.

For nearly 700 years, the citadel served as the seat of Egypt’s government. Today, it stands as a remarkable example of Islamic military architecture and houses several mosques, museums, and historic structures.
